Market Collective 411

I have been attending Market Collective since 2008 and it has been amazing to see it grow with every market. If you have never been you are either,

 a) scared of crowds or crafts

b) crazy

c) just don’t know!

I am not here to judge and whatever the reason MC is back this weekend and every weekend until Christmas. MC has become a great community that supports local artists, musicians and businesses. I have found a lot of great artists, jewelry makers that I now know and love.  Some of the things I found have already been featured in my Buy Local Post.

You know every year there are those that are on your list and you don’t know what to get them because ” they have everything”, well Market Collective is definitely the place where you will find something for them. The lists of artists grow every time and you can find everything from handcrafted jewelry to paintings and everything in between.

You can honestly spend a whole day at MC, especially since they have now started doing workshops with some of the artists that are featured. You can learn how to make your own jewelry,  lotions, leather creations and more! These do fill up quick though so sign up for the mailing list so that you will be able to get notified ASAP 🙂

I suggest bringing cash with you as not all vendors take Debit/Credit and it speeds up the process to move onto the next thing! There is some food, coffee and treats and you can listen to live live music and DJ’s as you rest your feet.
