I am a strong believer in supporting local business, and 1 thing YYC is not short on are entrepreneurs. There is a great mix of people making and selling their art all over the city. And now is the prime time to hit up a Christmas fair.
One of my favourite things to do is get/make gifts for other people. On more than 1 occasion I have had friends call me in a frantic because they have tried to buy the perfect gift for someone and felt completely lost. I have been able to use my gift purchasing powers to think of the exact thing the person didn’t even know they needed!
This time I’m gonna do things a bit backwards and hopefully help you pick out gifts for people this holiday season.
For your Music Lover
We find ourselves over at the Market on Macleod almost every weekend, and not just because my brother is this dude, but because all of the food vendors are amazingly eclectic, the people are great, and the sense of the community is fantastic.
November 14th the Market will be hosting their Light up the Night event from 5-7pm in the Atrium. This will be a great way to kick off the Holiday Season with your Fam or a date.
